CNY in Chicago

Finally. Of the three years I've been here, this is the first year that CNY did not fall on a weekday. It kinda sucks coz usually this is the time of the year that we have exams. YAY! At last I get to somewhat celebrate CNY.
I miss home. :(

Dinner at Gino's East Chicago

Fried Calamari

Chicago Deep Dish Pizza

Walked around few blocks to find for breakfast. However, the shop the we wanted to go did not have bagel. Decided to walk back and found Panera Bread to be just right around the corner. :)

Everytime I went to Chinatown, it was just in and out of a restaurant. Never really walked around.
This time, I actually walked around and looked at things.

Look at how much people there are.

Lions.
Too bad the guy behind the lion is just holding it normally. Not under the cloth or dancing at all.
No Fun.

And... they have quite a long dragon too! :D

Chicago Bull came out to enjoy the fun.

Oooh oooh... Ronald McDonald decided to bring his shoe house and join the parade.

They even have the emperor and princesses and all.

People selling cotton candy. Hmm.. yum.

It might be bad?? Not good?? Since somebody thrown it in the trash.

Lunch at PENANG. (That's actually the name of the restaurant)
Kambing Rendang

Char Koay Teow

Tho the food is nowhere near what you get in the REAL Penang, it's still very worth it when you are craving for it.
I'm so satisfied. :)

The middle of train tracks where one is not supposed to go down.
So... what ARE those tracks doing there and stopped in the middle???
...
...
Hmmmm... I wonder...
